This past 6 weeks went by in a flash. Basically nothing really happened except teachers tried to cram a bunch of unknown knowledge into our mind at the last second. Which is really annoying if you ask me, they should have found some time for all the in their planner besides trying to cover everything at the last second that they didn't get to teach during the year.
My Spanish and JROTC teacher actually did the very exact thing. My Spanish teacher, didn't get to finish teaching us all the verbs and how to conjugate certain words or such. And the past few days, he's been showing us how to, expecting us how to do this, and translate that, or whatever. None of us probably even remember half of the things he taught. And the worst case is, he gave us a packet to go study over and work on, when we barely remember anything he even said.
My JROTC class basically went by too quickly. The last couple of days, they just started to teach us about maps and how to read them. And then they added a bunch of more random facts and how-to information on what map does what, and etc. Afterwards, they expected us to memorize and learn all that in one class period and gave us an exam over it. Which of course wasn't the ACP exam, it was part of it and counted towards my grade a lot.
In my opinion, teaching that way, will not help any student succeed in the class and will end up failing. And finally, PASSED ALL MY TAKS~ Wooo~! I missed one question on the Math TAKS that prevented me from getting a 100% on it though, disappointing.
