Personal Narrative

This 4th 6 weeks, starting a new semester will probably the greatest 6 weeks in an average highschool year. We had gotten off our winter break and went into ANOTHER break from an ice day to a full blown actual snow day. WHOO. But the after effects of it was so horrible. All my teachers basically piled projects and work and homework onto everyone to try to catch up.
After the snow days, DISD were trying to get out of making up the days we missed. One of the options was to take away Spring Break. But they decided to take away random holidays like student/faculty holidays. School has just been bleh, ever since our break. I don't really understand WHY we have to take some classes like speech or health. Most likely we won't even use 2/3 of the skills we aquire in school. Speech is pretty pointless if your going to be an engineer or something. Health..I think you can just simply go to Google and search up what your curious about. I'm not really even learning much about what i SHOULD learn in some of my classes. Some which I think are pretty much pointless. World History (NO OFFENSE Mr. Detrixhe) is pretty much bleh. I know we should respect and acknowledge what the people in the past have done for America to be where they are, but it's not really gonna help anyone besides Historians in life. I learn a lot in your class, but it's not going to help me in my career at all. English, Math, and Science might provide some background usefullness but that'd be it. America might as well set up different type of schools for different career instead of bunching everything into one school only.
Well all I've done is rant about how much school is flawed in so many ways. Which all of it is true if you take the time to think about it. My 4th 6 weeks in school has been pretty well, except for the tripled amount of work load the teachers have started to put on us. Even though we don't actually need all those classes or homework in the first place if schools were more directly approached by what type of career students actually want to do, instead of being undecesive and just moving along till college.
